One thing I hate the most is a mixture of different feelings, and sarcastically fortunate for me, that's what I am currently experiencing.
I just got home from Baguio and La Union. I went up there together with Papa, Nikko, and my cousins Ate Mara, Kyla, and Gio. During my enrollment, my eyes lit up seeing some familiar faces. I saw Therese Revilloza, my classmate last year, and JC Nicolas, my ka-YFC. They taught me how to enroll, because I didn't know how. After my enrollment, we went to check out the place where we're going to stay for the next 10 months. The place is ok, plus the monthly fee is not that expensive. Php2,500/month including water and electricity. Ok na yun, diba?
About UPB, it's ok. The campus there is better than the campus here in Diliman. Mainly because it's peaceful and safe. People who aren't students cannot just walk in and out of the campus whenever they want to. Plus I love the temperature there. I can study without the hotness bothering me. I am excited to study there, yes, but I am sure I'm going to be sad after a few weeks because I'm going to miss my life here in QC. I'm gonna miss my family, my friends, my home, and all things, people, and places that I'm going to be leaving for the next school year. People say 10 months is short, but I say that a lot of things are gonna happen within that short time. And those things are the ones that I don't wanna miss. I think it's about time for me to step out of my comfort zone and prove once and for all to all those
people that I am no longer a kid, and am mature enough to be independent.
Anyway, after Baguio, we went down to La Union. It was a short notice because Papa told us that we're going there when we were already going up to Baguio. We haven't any swim wear, so we bought there in Baguio (SM, not UK ;)). Papa wasn't able to come with us in Anilao because he was still in the US at that time that's why he decided to go to La Union. Plus we didn't like it in Anilao because it was rocky and coral-ly, and sea urchins were everywhere, and there was no sand for the kids to play with. What do we expect, Anilao is a diving spot. Pics
here.
I bought a retro-inspired jacket in UK for only P90! It's a steal!
OK have to go now. This is already long. :) Babu.
